Wanted: CEO for New Airline
Brookfield Aviation has been exclusively retained to hire a CEO for a new airline based in the western United States, due to commence revenue flights in January 2018.
The new airline will operate Airbus wide-body jets on trans-Pacific routes. This is a completely embryonic project and the CEO will take responsibility for further developing the business plans, ultimately appointing post-holders and negotiating contracts with business partners.
The successful candidate will typically have a background in airline management ideally with experience in financial / revenue management, flight operations, or for an aviation services company. The position would suit somebody who is ready to take a step up to become CEO, whether or not they have already held an equivalent post with another airline.
For the first few months, the job can be home-based, with travel for meetings, Skype communication etc. The CEO will receive a substantial shareholding in the new company and a very generous salary which will commence after a minimum of three, maximum 12 months.
