Gulfstream’s G700 Earns Another Certification
Aruba’s Department of Civil Aviation (DCA) is the latest authority to approve Gulfstream’s flagship ultra-long-range G700 business jet. This follows the aircraft’s certification from the FAA in March and subsequent authorisation from EASA in May. With these approvals, the G700 now boasts over 12 certifications globally, including from the UK and Mexico, further underscoring Gulfstream’s commitment to meeting rigorous safety and performance standards across diverse regions. Gulfstream plans to deliver more than 50 units of the $81 million, 7,700 nm-range twinjets by year’s end.
The Aruba Registry, established nearly 30 years ago as the first privately managed Category 1 aircraft registry, is notable for allowing its registered aircraft to operate under U.S. operator certificates. A large portion of its clientele consists of European-owned or -operated aircraft, and the first G700 is expected to join the registry by the end of the month.
